Racers will swim in the pool at MacDonald Island Park. Transition 1 is in the parking lot behind MacDonald Island Park (close to the golf course). Racers will cycle along the MacDonald Island causeway, turning right onto the bridge that joins Highway 63 North. Keeping to the shoulder on the Northbound side, racers will go around the high-load bypass of Thickwood overpass, and then take the turnoff to Northstar Ford. They will follow this service road past Spruceland Lumber, all the way to Taiganova. At Taiganova racers will turn left, and then quickly right, to merge back onto Highway 63 North. Staying in the right hand shoulder, racers will exit onto the Parson's Creek overpass heading West. Rider's will then turn south/left on Coventry Drive. The square around Parson's Creek will be completed 3.5 times. On the fourth passing of the skate park on Heritage Drive, riders will turn left into the parking lot of the skate park.
